Information Collection
Whenever you visit the Site and you interact with us through the Site, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, as further described below:
Personal Data That You Provide Through the Site: We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information such as when you register for access to the Services, use certain Services, contact us with inquiries or respond to one of our surveys. Wherever we collect Personal Data we make an effort to provide a link to this Privacy Policy.
By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Butsince and the authorized third parties referred to herein located in the United States.
Non-Identifiable or Aggregated Data: When you interact with us through the Site or Services, we receive and store certain personally non-identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. We may store such information itself or such information may be included in databases owned and maintained by Butsince’s affiliates, agents or service providers. This Site may use such information and pool it with other information to track, for example, the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, the domain names of our visitors' Internet service providers, and how our users use and interact with us. Also, in an ongoing effort to better understand and serve our visitors and our customers such as yourself, Butsince may often conducts research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analyzed on an aggregate basis. We may share this non-identifiable and aggregate data with its affiliates, agents and business partners, but this type of non-identifiable and aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to current and prospective business partners, and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.

Butsince and its Related Companies may use this information to communicate with you regarding the Services or to tell you about services we believe will be of interest to you. If we do so, each marketing communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to "opt-out" of receiving future marketing communications. Note however that as a user of the Service you cannot opt-out of some administrative communications that are reasonably necessary to the Service, such as billing or service notifications. In addition, if at any time you wish not to receive any future communications or you wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please contact us as indicated below.
Disclosure of Information
We are not in the business of selling your information. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal Data with certain third parties to enhance your shopping experience without further notice to you, as set forth below:
Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, Personal Data may be part of the transferred assets.

Agents, Consultants and Related Third Parties: Butsince, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Butsince, its affiliated or its related companies, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
Opt Out Procedures
Anytime, if you prefer that we not disclose non-public personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures. If you wish to opt out of disclosures to nonaffiliated parties, you may do so by emailing to info@butsince.com
Exclusions
This Privacy Policy does not apply to any Personal Data collected by Butsince other than Personal Data collected through the Site or Services. This Privacy Policy shall not apply to any unsolicited information you provide to Butsince through this Site or through any other means. This includes, but is not limited to, information posted to any public areas of the Site, such as bulletin boards (collectively, “Public Areas”), any ideas for new products or modifications to existing products, and other unsolicited submissions (collectively, “Unsolicited Information”). All Unsolicited Information shall be deemed to be non-confidential and Butsince shall be free to reproduce, use, disclose, distribute and exploit such Unsolicited Information without limitation or attribution.
Shopify
The Site is hosted on Shopify, Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, database, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Third Party Service
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handles by these providers. In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities in different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involved the services of a third-party service provider, then your information used in completing maybe subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States of America, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act. Once you leave our Site (the Site, Website) or your are directed to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms & Conditions.

When you click on links on the Site, they may direct you away from our Site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
Children
Butsince is not targeted at children under 18. Butsince is intended for users who are 18 years of age and older. Butsince does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 18.
If you are under the age of 18, you are not permitted to submit any personal information to the Site. By using the Site, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older, or are 16 years of age and have valid parental consent to do so.
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act imposes certain requirements on web sites directed at children under 13 that collect information on those children, and on web sites that knowingly collect information on children under 13.
Security
We take all reasonable steps and follow industry best practices to ensure and to protect the Personal Data provided via the Site from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet, email or other electronic transmission is ever fully secure or error free, so you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us in this way.
When ordering with us, we want our customers to feel confident that their personal information and credit card data is completely safe. On butsince.com, if you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology and or an Extended Validation Secure Sockets Layer EV (SSL) technology that safely encrypts all of your private information when placing an order, and stored with an AES-256 encryption into the systems to be processed. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
Modification
We may make changes to this Policy from time to time, and we may apply changes to information previously collected, as permitted by law. Please be sure to check this Policy for updates. Each version of this Policy will be indicated by the latest updated dates at the top. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you, such as by posting the updated Policy on the Website or Apps, and/or as otherwise required by applicable law.

Your California Rights. As a California resident, you have the right to request the following:

- That we correct your personal information that is inaccurate
- That we delete your personal information
Please see the Your Options and Legal Disclosures section for additional information on how to exercise your rights. In addition, California law also gives you the right to request that we limit the use of your “sensitive” personal information. Butsince does not use any sensitive personal information or data to make inferences about you and uses sensitive personal information or data only for the reasons set forth in this Policy to improve, enhance, and perfect the product and/or services for you our customer, plus as permitted by the California Consumer Privacy Act.
The rights granted to you under California may provide us with exceptions to fulfilling your request, including where we need to retain information to fulfill a legal obligation, complete a transaction with you, prevent fraud or any other purpose permitted by law.
Should you wish to appeal a determination we have made with regard to your personal information request send an email to info@butsince.com within 14 days of receiving a final notification from us. Kindly include “Data Subject Rights Appeal” in the subject line of your email, and provide your name, the original request case number, the email address associated with your request and any relevant information or data for us to investigate the appeal. We will provide a response to your request for an appeal within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
Personal information & Data. As described above, we work with certain third parties such as certain advertising partners to show ads that are targeted to your interests. These activities may be considered “selling” or “sharing” of your personal information and/or personal data under California law. Anytime, if you prefer that we do not disclose non-public personal information or sensitive information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures. That is, you may direct us to not make those disclosures. If you wish to opt out of those activities or those disclosures. If you wish to opt out of disclosures to nonaffiliated parties, you may do so by emailing to info@butsince.com
We do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information and or personal data of consumers under 18 years of age.
California Privacy Right Request Metrics.
Since, we are at an early beta stage, Butsince have not received any request from any customers, including California residents and/or California consumers, effective for the time frame since November 01, 2023.
